This is the controversial practice of inserting reversed speech messages into music recordings. Backmasking can be found in recordings by The Beatles, Electric Light Orchestra, Ozzy Osbourne and others. It has led to various accusations and trials claiming the messages can influence behaviour, including a trial over backmasked messages in music by Judas Priest, although the case was eventually dismissed.
